HOW TO USE IT
Photo collage & contact sheet, step by step
- Add images and use Move up or Move down to arrange their order.
- Set the columns, cell shape and spacing. Choose whether to retain the whole image or fill each cell.
- Create the collage and download one image. Enable filenames to make a contact sheet for review.
A collage for presentation, a contact sheet for selection
A collage lets several images travel as one file. A contact sheet adds a reference label to each image so a reviewer can identify a selection. Filenames appear only when you enable that option; check them before sharing the sheet if they contain client names or other private information. Long labels are shortened to fit their cell.
Fit versus fill
Fit whole image preserves each photo and shows the chosen background where the shapes differ. Fill cell makes a continuous grid by cropping edges. Photos are centered in their cells. Choose more columns for large batches so the result does not become too tall, and avoid a large sheet width when the source images are small. Collages can enlarge individual photos to fill a cell.
File support and export limits
Use static JPG, PNG or WebP files. HEIC, GIF, SVG and animated images are not supported. Each file can be up to 25MB and 40 million pixels; a batch can total up to 120MB. Image exports are limited to 16 million pixels and 8,192 pixels on either edge. These limits can reduce large images. PDF pages use re-encoded images. Keep your originals and review downloads before sharing. Read the image export guide.
Can I change the order?
Yes. Move images up or down in the selected list before creating the collage. The order runs left to right, then top to bottom.
What happens to empty cells?
If the last row is incomplete, the remaining area keeps your chosen background color. There are no placeholder images or labels.
