HOW TO USE IT
Round image corners, step by step
- Select the images you want to round.
- Adjust the radius and the maximum export width.
- Preview the transparent corners and download the results.
Bake rounded corners into the image
Rounded image files can be useful in slide decks, documents and other destinations where you cannot apply a style rule. The radius is relative to the shorter edge, so a mixed batch receives a similar treatment. A small radius only softens the corners; a large one creates a more pronounced curve.
Transparency and the destination background
The cropped corners are transparent. They reveal whatever background the destination places behind the image. A PNG viewed against white can look different from the same PNG on a dark slide. If you want a fixed background color, use the background color tool on the downloaded result.
File support and export limits
Use static JPG, PNG or WebP files. HEIC, GIF, SVG and animated images are not supported. Each file can be up to 25MB and 40 million pixels; a batch can total up to 120MB. Image exports are limited to 16 million pixels and 8,192 pixels on either edge. These limits can reduce large images. PDF pages use re-encoded images. Keep your originals and review downloads before sharing. Read the image export guide.
Will the image become a circle?
Only a square image at the maximum radius forms a circle. For an exact-size circular avatar, use Circle crop.
Are the original dimensions preserved?
They are preserved unless the maximum width or the output safety limits require a reduction. The image is never enlarged here.
